چکیده
Abstract A typical geometry extracted from the path integral of a quantum theory gravity may be quite complicated in UV region. Even if single configuration is not physical, its properties interest to understand details nature, since some universal features can important for physics model. If formalism describing coordinate independent, which case model studied here, such understanding facilitated by use suitable systems. In this article we scalar fields that solve Laplace’s equation introduce coordinates on geometries with toroidal topology. Using these observe what identify as cosmic voids and filaments structure, even matter only tool visualize geometry. We also show used are dynamically coupled geometry, they change it dramatic way, leading modification spatial

Gauge fixing in Causal Dynamical Triangulations
We relax the definition of the Ambjørn-Loll causal dynamical triangulation model in 1 + 1 dimensions to allow for a varying lapse. We show that, as long as the spatially averaged lapse is constant in time, the physical observables are unchanged in the continuum limit. This supports the claim that the time slicing of the model is the result of a gauge fixing, rather than a physical preferred tim...

متن کاملThe transfer matrix in four dimensional causal dynamical triangulations
The Causal Dynamical Triangulation model of quantum gravity (CDT) is a proposition to evaluate the path integral over space-time geometries using a lattice regularization with a discrete proper time and geometries realized as simplicial manifolds. The model admits a Wick rotation to imaginary time for each space-time configuration. Using computer simulations we determined the phase structure of...
متن کاملQuantum Gravity and Matter: Counting Graphs on Causal Dynamical Triangulations
An outstanding challenge for models of non-perturbative quantum gravity is the consistent formulation and quantitative evaluation of physical phenomena in a regime where geometry and matter are strongly coupled. After developing appropriate technical tools, one is interested in measuring and classifying how the quantum fluctuations of geometry alter the behaviour of matter, compared with that o...
